Black Friday: Two sides ...

I, Jen, have never ventured out on Black Friday.  Nor have I bought online.  Crazy, huh?

It just intimidates the heck out of me.  So many things, so many prices, so much to prepare.  Maybe that is really it - I am not ready to make my purchases a day that early in the season.  My Thanksgiving dinner is still digesting...

That doesn't mean I haven't thought about it.  But how do you really do it?  Is it best to hit one store, or venture around?  Know exactly what you want, or browse around?

I, Vicky, always shop on Black Friday.  I shop online only.  Smart, huh?

I sit in my pj's, cup of coffee in hand and score really good deals.  I never pay shipping.  I always look for coupon codes first before hitting "complete purchase".  And I check various sites first to make sure it truly is the best price.  Of course by this point, I have a gift list already started so I do know what I'm looking for.  And my mom constantly brags that she is "already done", so there is a little bit of that pressure.

Yes, my Thanksgiving dinner is still digesting, but ... it feels GREAT getting something holiday-like done early.  Because goodness knows, I drag my feet all the way until December 20th before I stomp into the basement to dig up the artificial Christmas tree.

However you do it, enjoy the upcoming holiday festivities!
