We've Been "BOO-ed"!
We just got "boo-ed" and it totally gets me in the spooky spirit. It's a secretive neighborhood game just for fun. "Boo" your neighbor with a bag of simple goodies, the directions and a sign to let everyone know you have been hit already. It is a simple secretive way to let the kids have some fun. By the way, I have no idea who "Boo-ed" us. Anyone wanna give it up?
Click this link for another way to "get your ghost on" with this poem:
The Phantom ghost has come to town
To leave these goodies that you have found
If you do not wish a curse to fall
Continue this "Phantom Call"
First, paste this Phantom where it can be seenLeave it there til Halloween
This will scare other phantoms that may come
Be sure to take part, it's all for fun
Second, make one treat, one phantom and one note like this
Deliver to a neighbor who may have been missed
Don't let them see you, be sneaky no doubt
And make sure they put their phantom ghost outYou only have a day to act, so be quick
Leave it at a door where a phantom has not picked
Deliver at dark, where there is no light
Ring the bell, then run and stay out of sight
And last, but not least, join in this ghoulish tradition
And make it your next night's mission
Remember to not be seen and share in the spirit of Halloween!
Speaking of Halloween, I have got to get started on our homemade costumes. Here are some links to easy ideas if you feel like you are running out of time ...
