Today was the annual "Rehberger Donation Day" and it was awesome! Jasmine saved money in her re-used Nutella jar over the past year, including spare change from family and friends (for example, my brother emptied his pockets before he got on the plane to go back home after the holiday). She donated a total of $43.62 to The League for Animal Welfare. Jade's money is on it's way to help wolves in Yellowstone.
That do-good feeling grows and makes us better people almost immediately. The discussion the rest of the day was about how the money will be used for the animals and how can we do more. So ... we are still looking into more ways to help.
We are so proud to have made "Donation Day" an annual tradition, and hope to keep the "do good" going all year. For ideas of your own, listen to our interview Good Fun about creative gifts of service.
